Xu Liu

I am studying Fine Arts at UCOL Whanganui. Glass art is one of my major programmes. I enjoy the procedure of glass casting; I love to play with colour, shape and light in my work.
In most of my works, I mix both western and eastern culture together, and use the western glass technique and skills combined the eastern style. My inspiration comes from everyday subjects, it is not conceptual, it is just a representation of the beauty of life.
Glass art for me is just beginning.
