I work with simple and organic forms, often drawing on elements of natural subtlety.

I enjoy pushing the boundaries of the casting process to achieve delicate work where the solid bases of the vessels contrast with very fine and gossamer-like rims.

The introduction of a second and sometimes third colour into the base or rim of the form has allowed me to introduce a conceptual depth to the work.

Working as a Clinical Psychologist with people under stress, I value the moments of reflective contemplation in life. When I work with glass I'm looking to create a work that has containment and a simplicity which provides a moment of quietness for the viewer.
