I have been working professionally in glass since 1974.  From the beginning, my focus has been the design and fabrication of windows for specific spaces.  It started solely as residential commissions, but over the years has encompassed public and corporate work, such as Auckland District Court, Hamilton City Council, The Aotea Centre, Auckland University, Hansells Food Group.  Being site specific, the designs relate to the particular space, light and usage.  Occasional exhibition work allows me a freer hand.

In the last few years the demand for contemporary glass in the form of leaded panels has given way to a starker, cleaner look. Presently I am working on a series of work using overlapping graphics on float glass in double and triple-glazed units, sandblasted or digitally painted. This system provides an artistic addition to an environmental solution.
