Glass is so much a part of our everyday lives that it is easy to take
for granted the amazing uses we have for it in our lifestyles,
workplace and homes.

It can separate and protect us from the world to which it
simultaneously exposes us as a transparent boundary, or be created
into a sculptural form of spectacular beauty and delight for us all to
enjoy.

With its colours never fading, glass can be completely transparent or
opaque, enabling it to create magical and mysterious illusions by
harnessing light or transforming spaces.

It is the amazing properties, capacity for recycling and endless uses
of glass that I admire and find truly inspiring.
