Glass casting is where I reflect my pride and share my passion for my country through the combination of sculptural form, texture, light, depth and colour.
It offers the most challenges and boundaries to explore through the fascinating processes involved: ever changing and evolving forms - not just the ideas, thoughts, feelings and notions that created or inspired the object to its final form that is hard and durable, yet also so fragile, seductive and enchanting, but also the practical and physical evolution: the involvement of different states and components of earth, water, air and fire, reacting: attracting and repelling, liquids to solids, creating positive forms, negative space then adding new dimensions of texture, colour and finishes, allowing light to create the final depth and emotion.
