The cast glass artwork I create explores the spatial qualities of glass, its ability to both convey itself as an object, as well as convey an object within.

These negative spaces within the glass have the ability to interplay with the glass as an object on the outside (and for the object on the outside to affect that which is within). to push, pull, distort, intersect.

The spatial qualities are accentuated in my artwork, by the way the glass is textured and layered, and by the fluidity and mass of the glass.
